Job Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality instruction and support to students in math education, focusing on readiness, reading, mathematics, and/or writing skills. Our ideal candidate will possess strong teaching skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for helping students achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver designated instructional models and strategies to eligible students through utilization of Company materials and educational strategies.
  • Develop and maintain individualized skill-appropriate lesson plans to meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Ensure supervision of students at all times, including escorting students safely to and from the classroom or to mobile/trailer classroom.
  • Maintain accurate student records and files as required by the Company, local, state, and/or federal agencies.
  • Collaborate with teachers, principals, and parents to ensure seamless support and progress monitoring for students.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a related field (Master's preferred).
  • A valid Math Teaching certificate for Alabama.
  • At least 8th-10th grade Math teaching experience (pre-algebra, algebra, geometry) or 6th-12th grade Teaching Math experience.
  • SAT/ACT prep experience is a plus.
  • The ability to use scripted curriculum to instruct students.
  • A willingness to differentiate instruction and reteach as needed so students can master content.
