Position Overview:

The Microbiology Analyst I will play a vital role in supporting the Microbiology Department by managing data processing and entry, as well as conducting Environmental Microbiological testing and Filtration Testing, alongside maintaining the cleanliness of the laboratory.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with and conduct membrane filtration for sterility assessments.
  • Carry out environmental monitoring, including Viable Surface, Viable Air, and Particulate Testing.
  • Execute endotoxin testing procedures.
  • Maintain accurate daily logs and documentation.
  • Perform sample plate enumeration and media fill assessments.
  • Support the upkeep of laboratory inventory and equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) in all activities.
  • Undertake additional job-related responsibilities as necessary.
Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in life sciences.
  • Preferred laboratory experience.

Desired Skills and Abilities:

  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to maintain gowning qualifications and utilize Personal Protective Equipment.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Capability to work independently on scientific projects.
  • Strong technical writing skills, including the ability to author and revise Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) or technical reports.
Work Schedule:

Available positions include:

  • 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM - 11:00 PM
  • 1st Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM
