About the Role

As a Commercial Construction Superintendent at Barringer Construction, you will lead daily jobsite activities, coordinate subcontractor work, and communicate effectively with clients, project management, and the public/building occupants.

This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the daily jobsite activities and ensure smooth project execution
  • Coordinate subcontractor work according to design, schedule, and safety program
  • Communicate effectively with clients, project management, and the public/building occupants

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial construction
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret building plans, schedules, and product specification sheets
  • Ability to write business correspondence and effectively present information
  • Mathematical skills to perform calculations and measurements

Work Environment

This role requires frequent travel to construction sites, often with fluctuating temperatures, changes in elevation, indoor and outdoor conditions, and occasional dusty/dirty environments.

You may be required to clean construction sites, demolish spaces, and use tools. This position also requires early morning, weekend, and night shift work as needed.
