Job Description


As a Medical Office Coordinator - Patient Engagement Specialist, you'll be responsible for maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction by providing exceptional patient care. Your primary duties will include:



  • Registering and checking out patients in a timely and efficient manner
  • Obtaining and recording demographic, insurance and financial information
  • Verifying insurance eligibility and relaying relevant information on payment policies and billing/collection processes
  • Collecting co-pays, co-insurance, deductibles and past due balances
  • Providing general assistance to patients, including answering phone calls and responding to voicemails
  • Maintaining a clean and organized workspace, adhering to company policies and procedures
  • Performing other duties as assigned by management

Required Skills and Qualifications


We're looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will have:



  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a medical office setting
  • Knowledge of basic medical terminology and HIPAA regulations
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a positive attitude
