Position Overview:
As a Personal Banker II, you will expertly execute teller functions, ensuring transaction accuracy and compliance with the Bank's established standards and protocols. You will enhance customer relationships by offering tailored account solutions that meet their needs, engaging in account opening and maintenance activities. Your role will reflect the core values of Needham Bank, fostering a positive community presence.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Execute all responsibilities associated with the Personal Banker I role.
2. Exhibit a strong commitment to nurturing and developing customer relationships.
3. Acquire comprehensive knowledge of the Bank's products and services.
4. Deliver a full spectrum of customer services, including new account openings, product explanations, and information gathering for processing accounts.
6. Ensure operational compliance and adherence to established bank policies and procedures.
7. Attain a thorough understanding of teller operations.
8. Consistently provide outstanding customer service.
9. Investigate and analyze data to resolve complex customer issues. Respond to customer inquiries about accounts and transactions, exploring solutions for challenging problems.
10. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products and services; anticipate customer needs to effectively communicate relevant offerings.
11. Assist in the training and development of tellers and personal bankers; collaborate with the Retail Trainer and engage in assigned training initiatives.
13. Undertake additional responsibilities as needed or assigned.
Qualifications:
1. Knowledge and skills required for the Personal Banker I position.
2. Flexibility to work a schedule aligned with the Bank's operational hours, including Saturday mornings.
3. Capability to lift up to 30 pounds.
4. Basic proficiency in keyboard and computer skills.
5. Ability to perform fundamental arithmetic operations using a calculator.
6. Possess basic business acumen and professionalism.
7. Strong relationship-building skills, adaptability to change, reliability, and high motivation.
9. Proficiency in written and spoken English.
10. Willingness to obtain Notary Public certification in MA.
11. Commitment to upholding Needham Bank's Core Values (Focus on Customer Relationships, Embrace Change, Work as a Team, Be an Asset to Your Community, Always Learn, and Do the Right Thing).
1. High School Diploma or GED.
2. Minimum of two years of teller or cash handling experience with a proven record of accuracy.
3. Customer service and/or sales experience is preferred.
Working Conditions/Physical Demands:
Normal business office environment.
