Position Responsibilities:

As an Operational Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing services, personnel, and facilities, ensuring a high standard of care and effective coordination of services. Your role will be pivotal in promoting Dungarvin's mission and making a positive impact daily.

  • Quality and Program Oversight: Ensure service quality, maintain regular communication with individuals served and their support networks, manage support plans, and address any concerns. Guarantee compliance with licensure and certification standards through evaluations and audits.
  • Financial Oversight: Ensure programs achieve financial objectives, manage budgets, and address financial requirements. Collaborate on budget planning and oversee accounts receivable and expenditures.
  • Personnel Supervision: Lead program managers, oversee recruitment, training, and performance assessments, and manage staff schedules and payroll.
  • Facility Management: Ensure the upkeep and safety of facilities, adhere to regulatory standards, and manage associated risks.
  • Leadership and Professionalism: Advocate for the organization's mission and values, represent the organization with professionalism, and engage in workgroups and committees.

The position requires strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills to ensure the delivery of high-quality services and the attainment of organizational objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Must meet Designated Manager qualifications in accordance with the 245D requirements
  • 4-year degree in a human service field with a minimum of 1-year direct care experience
  • At least 5 years of supervisory and personnel management experience
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
  • Current auto liability insurance with reliable transportation

Additional Information:

The operational manager's schedule must be adaptable to meet various program, personnel, and organizational needs, including after-hours, weekend emergencies, and phone communications.
