We are looking for a Customer Support Contractor to join our Membership Development team.
This position presents a unique opportunity to be part of a rapidly expanding organization that delivers top-tier solutions to clients in one of the most dynamic sectors globally.
This is a six-month contract role focused on assisting clients with basic inquiries related to our products. You will escalate issues or opportunities as necessary. This position is remote.Key Responsibilities
- Respond to incoming calls, voicemails, and emails directed to the EnergyLink support team.
- Ensure responses are accurate, timely, and delivered in a friendly manner.
- Adhere to internal protocols consistently.
- Escalate user contact information if follow-up is required from another team member.
- Maintain composure and respect while managing client emotions.
- Guide clients through the application process over the phone.
- Thoroughly understand client needs before proposing solutions.
- Troubleshoot basic client issues effectively.
- Take initiative and ownership in resolving client concerns.
- Engage in cross-training to acquire new skills and enhance the customer experience.
Ideal Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will possess a broad theoretical understanding of the role, typically gained through advanced education.
Work will be closely supervised for complex tasks, while routine situations may require less oversight.
Challenges encountered may be difficult but are generally not overly complex.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education and experience.
- 2-5 years of relevant industry experience or training in revenue accounting, land management, JIB, or A/P, along with prior customer service experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and various oil and gas software programs.
Physical Requirements
Ability to sit for extended periods, perform repetitive motions on a computer, and utilize standard office equipment.
Effective communication skills are essential.
Regular and predictable attendance is expected.
Ability to work in an office environment as needed.
Travel requirements: 0% or as necessary for company needs.
