Program Coordinator Assistant

May Institute is a leading nonprofit organization providing educational, rehabilitative, and behavioral healthcare services to individuals with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disabilities, brain injury, and behavioral health needs.
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Assistant Program Coordinator to work with individuals with autism and developmental disabilities in our residential or day habilitation programs. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personalized support to individuals with developmental disabilities, assisting with daily living tasks, meal preparation, medication management, and transportation.
- Cultivate a nurturing environment that promotes independence, dignity, and respect, empowering individuals to reach their full potential.
- Develop and implement skill-enhancement strategies to support individuals in achieving their goals and dreams.
- Collaborate with a diverse team of therapists, caregivers, and healthcare professionals to provide holistic care and support.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or 3 years of experience in human services.
- Valid driver's license with a minimum of 2 years' driving experience.
- Prior supervisory experience in human services.
- Strong interpersonal skills and empathy towards individuals from diverse backgrounds.
- Dependability, compassion, and patience, with a commitment to making a positive impact.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
