Career Opportunity: Assistant Director of Nursing

Job Summary:
The Assistant Director of Nursing will be responsible for assisting the Director of Nursing in managing the nursing staff, developing policies and objectives, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards. This role requires strong leadership and mentorship skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others to deliver exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Nursing Staff Management: Assist the Director of Nursing in managing the nursing staff, including recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance evaluations.
- Policy Development: Develop and implement nursing department policies and objectives to maintain high standards of patient care.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and standards related to nursing care and healthcare services.
- Schedule Creation: Create and maintain schedules to ensure departments have adequate nursing coverage for each shift.
- Interdisciplinary Meetings: Participate in interdisciplinary meetings to enhance patient care and operational efficiency.
- Patient Relations: Maintain positive relationships with staff, patients, and their families to improve patient satisfaction and outcomes.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing: From an accredited institution.
- Current RN Licensure: In Minnesota.
- Nursing Experience: A minimum of 3 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in a leadership or supervisory role preferred.
