We offer two distinct tracks for our Advanced Practice Clinicians (APCs): one for newly trained professionals and another for experienced emergency medicine APCs. If you're an experienced clinician with a focus on emergency medicine, you'll be slotted directly into your predetermined practice, working alongside a talented team of healthcare professionals.

We're seeking highly skilled ER Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners to join our multidisciplinary team, providing exceptional emergency medical care in various settings, including emergency departments, urgent care centers, and fast-track areas. As an APC, you'll play a vital role in coordinating patient care, collaborating with consultants, and participating in continuous quality improvement initiatives.
You'll work closely with our team of physicians, rotating through shifts in hospital EDs and stand-alone Urgency Rooms. This dynamic environment requires strong communication skills, empathy, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide healthcare services to patients under physician supervision
- Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and compile patient medical data
- Administer diagnostic tests, interpret results, and develop patient management plans
- Perform therapeutic procedures, prescribe medications, and dispense medical devices
- Instruct patients on prescribed therapeutic regimens and maintain accurate patient records
- Communicate effectively with patients, family members, and medical professionals
- 1+ year of experience as an APC in a high-volume hospital ED with experience in typical emergency procedures
- Completion of an accredited physician assistant or nursing practitioner program
- Current licensure with the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice or Minnesota Board of Nursing
- Current ACLS, ATLS, and BLS certification
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to manage multiple clinical tasks efficiently
