We are looking for a motivated, reliable, and customer-focused individual to fill the role of Front Desk Agent at La Quinta Inn & Suites By Wyndham Seattle Sea. The ideal candidate should possess flexible availability, including the ability to work weekends and holidays.

POSITION OVERVIEW:
Responsible for providing exceptional sales and customer service related to guest check-ins, reservations, and payment processing, ensuring that guests enjoy a secure and welcoming environment with attentive service. Flexibility in scheduling is essential, as shifts will vary.

  • Ensure quality, accuracy, and thoroughness in all tasks performed.

  • Be responsive to the information needs of management and team members.

  • Demonstrate punctuality and reliability.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Provide friendly guest service and promptly address inquiries, complaints, or requests.
  • Organize daily reservations, checking for duplicates and special requests, and pre-blocking rooms as needed.
  • Perform front desk duties including check-ins, checkouts, and answering phone calls.
  • Process guest check-ins in accordance with credit policies.
  • Resolve guest issues efficiently and follow up to ensure satisfaction.
  • Understand and utilize the property management system effectively.
  • Offer information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions.
  • Assist with property events to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Maintain guest confidentiality and security of information.
  • Familiarize oneself with security protocols and emergency procedures.
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned by management.
  • Handle reservation requests with friendliness and efficiency.
  • Complete necessary paperwork for front desk operations.
  • Provide efficient switchboard services, including message handling and wake-up calls.
  • Account for all financial transactions accurately.
  • Audit and balance cash reports and drawers as required.
  • Maintain organization and cleanliness in front office areas.
  • Communicate effectively with housekeeping regarding room status and guest needs.
  • Engage with hotel guests and staff regularly, and occasionally with vendors.
  • Commit to a team-oriented, environmentally conscious service approach.
  • Be prepared to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Be able to stand for extended periods.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in hotel front desk operations.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be capable of sitting or standing for long durations and able to lift boxes weighing approximately 25-30 pounds.
