Catholic Charities Serving Central Washington is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Professional to join our team of dedicated individuals committed to providing vital support services to families in need.

In this role, you will play a crucial part in empowering families by offering guidance, resources, and evidence-based interventions. Your expertise will be instrumental in helping families navigate challenges related to substance abuse, child abuse and neglect, domestic violence, and other complex issues.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide individual and family therapy sessions tailored to meet the unique needs of each client.
  • Collaborate with families to develop individualized learning plans that promote growth and well-being.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify strengths, challenges, and areas requiring support.
  • Facilitate group sessions focused on parenting education, coping skills development, and other relevant topics.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of client interactions and progress.
  • Advocate for families by connecting them with community resources and support systems.
Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with families, colleagues, and community partners.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • A deep understanding of child development, family dynamics, and mental health issues.
  • Proficiency in utilizing evidence-based therapeutic approaches.
Licensure and Certification:

The ideal candidate will hold:

  • A current license as an independent Social Worker, Mental Health Counselor, or Marriage and Family Therapist in the State of Washington.
  • Certification in infant/toddler mental health.
  • Completion of a DOH-approved clinical supervision certification.
