Catholic Charities Serving Central Washington is seeking a highly skilled Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team. As a key member of our mental health services, you will be responsible for providing high-quality psychiatric care to individuals in need.
Key Responsibilities- Provide Psychiatric Services: Conduct psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and provide education to patients on benefits and risks of medications.
- Work with Crisis Services: Collaborate with crisis services to direct care needs of consumers receiving crisis stabilization services.
- Consult with Clinical Staff: Provide consultation to facilitate care of persons served, including coordination with outside physicians and ensuring accuracy of psychiatric diagnoses and assessments.
- Document Clinical Activities: Maintain accurate and timely documentation of clinical activities, including progress notes and provider-specific documentation.
- Comply with Regulatory Requirements: Understand and comply with all relevant regulatory and safety standards and requirements.
- Education: ARNP, MD, or DO with Psychiatric Board Certification.
- Experience: Minimum 1-year experience with direct patient care in psychiatric services and minimum 2-year experience in pediatrics.
- Skills: Electronic Medical Records use documentation skills (EMR), good interpersonal skills, and ability to provide service in a culturally competent manner.
- Licensure: Current licensure without any restrictions in the State of Washington and valid Washington State drivers license.
