Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our team at The Ashton. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a seamless and memorable experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Check-In/Check-Out: Greet and communicate cordially with guests, promptly and professionally checking them in and out of the hotel.
  • Pre-Registration and Blocking: Assist in pre-registration and blocking of reservations when necessary.
  • Cash Handling: Accurately manage cash handling, including receiving cash, checks, and credit card information from guests for payment of hotel charges and making change correctly.
  • Reservations and Procedures: Have working knowledge of reservations and procedures, including how to take same-day reservations and follow cancellation procedures.
  • Hotel Operations: Have complete working knowledge of Front Office computer or manual system, including all daily transactions and those which are not performed often.
Requirements
  • High Work Ethic: Demonstrate a high work ethic and self-initiative.
  • Flexibility: May be required to work varying schedules to include nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Team Player: Someone who enjoys working as and being part of a team that provides great experiences for our guests.
