We are currently seeking a Customer Service Specialist to operate from our Worcester location. In this role, you will be responsible for managing incoming calls to the Health Center and determining the necessary actions to address each inquiry effectively. This includes scheduling patient appointments, accurately relaying messages to healthcare providers, transferring calls to the correct departments, assisting colleagues, and providing general information about the Health Center.

Key Responsibilities:
- Handle incoming phone calls to ensure that the needs of callers are addressed promptly and effectively.
- Document messages for follow-up by Primary Care teams using standardized communication methods and appropriate systems, such as EMR, patient portals, or email.
- Verify and confirm all caller and patient information.
- Process basic insurance referrals as requested and update patient records accordingly.
- Complete assigned tasks, including contacting patients to manage appointment cancellations/rescheduling, making reminder calls, and entering data into various reports for analysis and tracking.
Qualifications:
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish or Portuguese is required.

- Availability for one Saturday shift per month is necessary.
