Central Indiana Corporate Partnership is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Director of Industry Engagement and Partnerships. This position will play a critical role in advancing the organization's mission to enable a modern workforce ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities- Stakeholder Engagement: Develop and maintain relationships with industry partners, including corporations, trade associations, and other relevant entities, to foster collaborations that advance the organization's mission and enhance its programs.
- Partnership Development: Identify and pursue new partnership opportunities that align with the organization's goals and objectives, leveraging strategic thinking and excellent communication skills to drive social impact.
- Program Support: Collaborate with internal teams to integrate industry partnerships into programmatic initiatives, ensuring alignment with the organization's priorities and maximizing the impact of partnerships.
- Convening(s) Support: Support events, workshops, and meetings that engage industry partners and promote collaboration, facilitating the exchange of ideas and best practices.
- Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for industry partners, managing ongoing communication and ensuring their needs and expectations are met, while maintaining a high level of professionalism and courtesy.
- Reporting: Track and report on the progress and outcomes of industry engagement activities, providing regular updates to senior leadership and stakeholders, and using data to inform strategic decisions.
- Resource Development: Assist in the development of proposals, grant applications, and other funding opportunities related to industry partnerships, leveraging expertise in partnership development and resource mobilization.
- Marketing and Outreach: Work with the marketing team to create materials and campaigns that highlight the impact of industry collaborations, showcasing the organization's commitment to innovation and excellence.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay informed about trends and best practices in industry engagement and apply this knowledge to enhance the organization's approach, ensuring that the organization remains at the forefront of industry engagement and partnership development.
- Leadership: Guide and motivate others to align with and work towards shared goals, fostering an environment where team members are empowered, encouraged, and provided with the resources needed for growth and success.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Non-Profit Management, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in industry engagement, partnership development, or a related role, preferably within a non-profit organization.
- Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal; proven ability to build and sustain relationships with diverse stakeholders; strategic thinker with the ability to align partnership opportunities with organizational goals; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Salesforce CRM software; excellent project management and organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail; able to articulate complex ideas in clear, innovative ways to diverse audiences; ability to learn new technology tools and processes quickly; proven leader with the ability to empower and guide a team to common goals and strategies.
