Job Summary

iKids U Central Texas is seeking a dedicated and experienced Afterschool Site Manager to lead and inspire a team of instructional staff in delivering a high-quality afterschool program for Pre-K to elementary-aged children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and model daily engaging learning activities for students, ensuring compliance with Texas Rising Star and State of Texas Childcare Licensing minimum standards.
  • Perform regular staff evaluations and foster a supportive team environment through collaborative communication with field staff and office administration.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with parents, children, school administrators, and the community through a proactive, problem-solving approach.
  • Manage school supplies efficiently and attend regular Site Manager meetings with Program Directors.
  • Attend monthly training sessions to maintain and exceed minimum childcare standards.

Qualifications
  • At least 1 year of experience working in a setting with younger children (ages 3-12).
  • 1 year of team leadership experience in a school or afterschool setting.
  • Ability to pass a Federal, State, and County background check for DFPS and DPS.
  • CPR/First Aid Training or willingness to obtain within 30 days of starting.
  • High school graduate with a college degree or coursework in childcare, education, or child development preferred.
