At United Medical Center, we are seeking a highly skilled Medical/Surgeon Nurse to join our team.
**Job Summary:**
The Medical/Surgeon Nurse will be responsible for coordinating and managing patient care on the Medical/Surgeon unit.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to develop and implement patient care plans
* Ensure continuity of care for Medical/Surgeon patients
* Implement disease management protocols as appropriate
* Develop interdisciplinary plans of care
**Requirements:**
* At least one year of Medical/Surgical experience
* Associate's degree from an accredited school of nursing; BSN degree preferred
* Current D.C. licensure as a Registered Professional Nurse
* BLS and ACLS certification
* Evidence of successful basic 12 lead EKG Interpretation class or completion within 90 days of hire
