Position Title: Student Success Advisor

About the Role and Organization:
Become a part of our dedicated team at InsideHigherEd, where we focus on enhancing student achievement and promoting academic excellence in a supportive environment.

Department: Academic Advising and Support Services

Position Overview:
  • Act as the main liaison for students enrolled in dual programs, offering guidance to assist them in reaching their educational and vocational goals.
  • Help students navigate course requirements, program prerequisites, and enrollment processes.
  • Contribute significantly to improving student engagement and success rates.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Advance the organization's mission through assigned responsibilities.
  • Collaborate with team members on various initiatives as needed.
  • Provide comprehensive information to students regarding courses, prerequisites, and registration.
  • Evaluate and respond to student academic inquiries.
  • Assist in resolving academic challenges faced by students.
  • Engage in orientation programs and student-related events.
  • Review academic transcripts and guide transfer students.
  • Advise students on fulfilling degree requirements.
  • Maintain accurate student records and academic documentation.
  • Establish partnerships with high schools and other educational institutions.
  • Monitor student progress and offer necessary support.
  • Ensure adherence to student privacy regulations.
  • Assist students in defining their academic and career aspirations.
Qualifications Required:
Educational Background: Bachelor's degree
Experience Required: A minimum of one year of relevant professional experience

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with academic advising systems.
  • Understanding of dual enrollment regulations and policies.
Preferred Educational Background: Master's degree

Salary Information: Competitive salary based on experience
