Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Halifax Health – Medical Center of Port Orange. As a key member of our Medical/Surgical Unit, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and collaborating with our interdisciplinary team to achieve exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Assess, collect, and document patient data to identify nursing diagnoses and develop individualized care plans.
  • Establish, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care and discharge plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
  • Provide responsible and accountable nursing care based on established clinical nursing practice standards and the Florida Nurse Practice Act.
  • Engage in collaborative relationships with peers and other professional disciplines to achieve shared goals and objectives.
  • Assume responsibility for professional growth and accountability, staying up-to-date with the latest evidence-based practices and technologies.
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Nursing from an accredited institution.
  • Certifications as required by the unit or area.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a high-performing team and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.
