We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Halifax Health – Medical Center of Port Orange. As a Registered Nurse on our Medical/Surgical Unit, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and collaborating with our interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Assess, collect, and document patient data to identify nursing diagnoses and develop individualized care plans.
- Establish, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care and discharge plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Provide responsible and accountable nursing care based on established clinical nursing practice standards and in accordance with the Florida Nurse Practice Act.
- Engage in collaborative relationships with peers and other professional disciplines to promote effective communication and teamwork.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida.
- Bachelor's degree or diploma from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Certifications as required by individual unit/area.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to provide exceptional patient care and build relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
