Job Title: Injection Molding Tooling Specialist

At medmix, we are seeking a skilled Injection Molding Tooling Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving our injection molding tools to ensure high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operational readiness of injection molding tools and peripherals
  • Cleaning and maintaining mold history
  • Managing mold spare parts
  • Ensuring quality specifications are met
  • Disassembling and reassembling molding tools
  • Cleaning, maintaining, and testing molding tools and peripherals
  • Supporting implementation of new injection molding tools and peripherals
  • Supporting troubleshooting activities of injection molding tools and peripherals
  • Independently carrying out minor repairs and maintenance on molding machines and peripherals
  • Working with vendors to resolve tooling issues
  • Maintaining high-quality standards through on-the-floor interaction with employees
  • Providing technical leadership and mentorship to operators and other molding personnel
  • Keeping mold maintenance area and production environment clean and organized
  • Ensuring compliance with laws and regulations regarding environmental protection, fire prevention, and occupational health and safety
Requirements:
  • 5 years of experience in injection molding manufacturing environment
  • Technical degree and/or combination of education and work experience
  • Experience in injection molds for thermoplastics and peripherals
  • Self-starter with high level of self-motivation
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in an interruption-prone environment
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Strong TEAM mentality required
  • Quality orientation and high attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Commitment to workplace safety
  • Ability to work independently
  • Must be able to work well with subordinates, peers, and superiors in all departments
  • Must be able to work well with external contacts of the Company
  • Self-confident and trustworthy
