Position Overview:
This role serves as a vital Manager for the Management Decision Package (MDEP) concerning Acquisition functional mission sets. The incumbent will engage in the following key responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct thorough reviews of ongoing processes and programs to ensure adherence to existing laws, regulations, and directives from DA/DOD/Congress.
2. Perform continuous analysis to identify trends, providing recommendations and implementing necessary resource adjustments.
3. Prepare and deliver comprehensive portfolio briefings to senior leaders within the Program Evaluation Group.
4. Optimize and manage all resources effectively across the assigned portfolio.

Conditions of Employment:
- Appointment may be contingent upon a suitability or fitness determination following a completed background investigation.
- A one-year probationary period may be required.
- This position is part of the Army Acquisition, Logistics, and Technology Workforce, and the selectee must fulfill the PROGRAM MANAGEMENT certification requirements within 48 months of starting.
- The role may require up to 25% travel for Temporary Duty (TDY) or business purposes.

Financial Disclosure Requirements:
- Submission of a Public Financial Disclosure Report (OGE 278) or a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report (OGE450) is mandatory upon entry and annually thereafter.
- Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.

Applicants must meet one of the employment authority categories to be eligible for this position. Documentation proving eligibility will be required.

Experience Requirements:
To qualify, candidates must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade/level (NH-03). Specialized experience includes:
1. Utilizing analytical methods to assess program efficiency and compliance with laws and regulations.
2. Developing resource plans to fulfill program requirements.
3. Applying acquisition lifecycle management processes to identify and implement adjustments in costs, schedules, or performance.
4. Advising senior leadership on resource allocation and acquisition programs.

- Reasoning

Additional Information:
- Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration.
- Proof of U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Direct deposit of pay is mandatory.
- Selection is subject to restrictions from the Department of Defense referral system for displaced employees.
