Position: Team Lead, Software Engineering (C#/SQL)

Role Overview:
The Product Data Services team is looking for a Team Lead in Software Engineering to contribute to the development of Enterprise applications that support all CoStar products. This role involves working with significant brands within the organization to address challenges related to scalability, consistency, and performance.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop a comprehensive understanding of the business drivers for the software being developed.
2. Provide project definition and oversee implementation through hands-on management of a software development team, utilizing Agile Scrum methodologies.
3. Mentor and manage a team of 2-5 software developers focused on Global Research applications within the Agile Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
4. Engage in design, architecture, and development tasks across the entire Research Process.
5. Work on large-scale, distributed, API-driven systems that handle vast amounts of data and high transaction volumes, ensuring the delivery of robust, efficient, and maintainable code using technologies such as C#, .NET Framework, JSON, SQL Server, and AWS.
6. Collaborate with Quality Assurance teams to guarantee the highest quality of software delivery.
7. Participate as a key member of the product launch team and work closely with DevOps to address operational challenges.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution.
- 7+ years of experience in .NET development (C#), including cross-platform communication technologies like Web API.
- 2+ years of experience in managing or mentoring engineering teams.
- Proven track record of developing and launching successful products utilizing large datasets.
- 3+ years of experience with SQL Server, Databricks, and ETL/data pipeline engineering.
- Strong analytical skills to design new architectures and data models.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with .NET Core and Databricks.
- Familiarity with AWS SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Knowledge of integration tools such as Glue, Lambda, and AWS Data Pipeline.
