Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Auto Fldr Gluer Assistant to join our team at Packing Corp Of America. As a key member of our production crew, you will be responsible for assisting with machine setup, monitoring box quality, and ensuring finished boxes are properly stacked for unitizing and/or palletizing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with machine setup and operation
- Monitor box quality and communicate issues to the operator and helper(s)
- Ensure finished boxes are properly stacked and prepared for shipping
- Maximize equipment utilization and assist the operator to run the machinery at available capacity and speed
- Assist with training helper(s) on job duties and complete necessary reports in a timely manner
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Lifting up to 45 pounds
- Ability to work overtime on short notice and in a manufacturing environment
- Preferred experience in packaging or manufacturing environments
