Position Overview:

Nesco Resource is proud to collaborate with a leading manufacturer in the Albany, NY region. We are actively seeking skilled candidates for their Electrical Assembly and Production operations.

Individuals with a background in manufacturing and a strong mechanical or technical aptitude are highly encouraged to consider this opportunity. Our client is also open to candidates who may have limited experience but are eager to learn and develop their skills in the manufacturing process.

This organization is experiencing rapid growth and offers long-term career advancement opportunities. They have recently launched a new, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility.

Shifts:

1st Shift - 6:05 AM to 3:05 PM
Note: Candidates must be willing to work overtime as required.

Compensation:

Hourly pay ranges from $17.00 to $18.00, depending on the shift and experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Hand assembly of sub-systems and components.
  • Reading, interpreting, and adhering to Standard Operating Procedures and assembly instructions.
  • Operation of manual hand tools and power tools as necessary for assembly and validation tasks.
  • Use of material handling equipment when required.
  • Training and certification will be provided.
  • Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving to identify issues within the manufacturing process.
  • Compliance with all environmental health and safety regulations, including OSHA standards.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency.
  • Effective communication with team members and supervisors.
  • Completion of manufacturing documentation as needed.
Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent is required; vocational education or training is preferred.
  • One year of experience in a manufacturing assembly role is preferred.
  • High level of manual dexterity.
  • Experience operating hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
  • Willingness to work overtime and adapt to a flexible schedule based on manufacturing demands.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality.
  • A collaborative team player with strong communication skills.
  • Ability to stand or sit for extended periods.
  • Capability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
