Project Manager | Contract | Hybrid

The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the technical aspects of project management and acting as a scrum master for various Studio Technology project teams. This role is pivotal in enhancing the project management capabilities within the organization. The Project Manager collaborates with teams that include product managers, business analysts, software engineers, and QA testers across multiple initiatives. Close cooperation with the Product Manager and Engineering Manager is essential to effectively manage project requirements, scope, timelines, and budget, while providing updates to stakeholders and management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure timely, within-scope, and budget-compliant delivery of projects while leading multiple teams.
  • Oversee daily operational elements of the project, including scope, schedule, and resource allocation.
  • Act as a scrum master for one or more project teams.
  • Facilitate daily stand-up meetings, backlog refinement, sprint planning, sprint demonstrations, and retrospectives.
  • Collaborate with the product development team to manage project requirements, timelines, and budgets effectively.
  • Provide comprehensive reporting on project status, including timelines, milestone tracking, budget updates, issue identification, and resource management.
  • Identify and communicate resource limitations and potential conflicts to aid in deadline evaluation and reprioritization.
  • Prepare for project evaluations and quality assurance processes.
  • Develop strategies for risk management and contingency planning.
  • Ensure all project documentation is complete, up-to-date, and appropriately stored.
  • Manage project budget forecasts and track actual expenditures.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated success in organizing, prioritizing, planning, and executing large-scale technology projects from inception to implementation, involving both internal personnel and external consultants.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, and Kanban.
  • Strong attention to detail to guarantee high-quality deliverables.
  • Proactive with a collaborative working approach.
  • Action-oriented with a commitment to quality and performance standards.
  • Exceptional conflict resolution and negotiation skills, adaptable to changing priorities and sensitive to cross-functional team dynamics.
  • Experience with scheduling, budgeting, and collaboration tools within the project management framework.
  • Ability to communicate effectively across all organizational levels, including technical leads, executives, and external vendors.
  • Facilitate team and client meetings with effectiveness.
  • Deliver engaging, informative, and well-structured presentations.
  • Address and escalate issues promptly.
  • Exhibit strong teamwork skills and inclusivity.
  • Maintain a positive, can-do attitude with a collaborative spirit.
