Cannon LLP: Civil Senior Principal Engineer in Water Resources

We are seeking a highly experienced Civil Senior Principal Engineer to join our Water Resources team in West Los Angeles. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a variety of civil engineering Public Works-Water Resources projects, ensuring project scope, budgets, and schedules are met, and delivering high-quality results to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and budget adherence.
  • Prepare engineering reports, analyses, and designs for water resources projects, including water, sewer, and storm drains.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, identifying new business opportunities and securing new work.
  • Mentor and direct project engineers and design engineers on technical matters and procedures.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve project delivery and client satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited college.
  • Minimum 15 years' experience in Civil Engineering, specifically in Public Works-Water Resources projects.
  • Minimum 8 years of project management experience in Public Works-Water Resources projects.
  • California P.E. license.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and typical computer software programs used in civil engineering design.
