CosignMed Clinical Specialist - Regional Travel Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Specialist to join our team at CosignMed. As a Clinical Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing clinical case coverage, training surgical teams, and ensuring the safe and effective use of our CVAC Aspiration System.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide clinical case coverage as assigned
  • Train surgical teams to assist in good patient outcomes and verbally support cases during training periods
  • Acquire and maintain current knowledge of perioperative surgical technology practice and hospital policies and procedures
  • Develop technical acumen to serve as an educational resource to customers completing CVAC Aspiration System procedures
  • Maintain and prepare equipment/kits for surgery, including Quality Control audits of equipment/kits
  • Troubleshoot equipment according to standard procedure
  • Provide intra-operative clinical product support
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, including the quality policy, on-label promotion, and interactions with healthcare professionals
Requirements:
  • Experience in surgical technique and sterile procedures in the operating room
  • Experience utilizing fluoroscopy a plus
  • Customer relationship and procedural skill development
  • Highly desirable candidates will have a high tenure in medical device procedure support in the operative room setting and degree or certification in a medical-related field (e.g., LPN, RN, Surg Tech, Rad Tech, etc.)
  • Able to travel up to 80%
  • Compliance with relevant county, state, and Federal rules regarding vaccinations
