Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Process Improvement Specialist to join our team. This role is pivotal in driving process enhancement initiatives across our organization, focusing on maximizing efficiency, quality, and safety while achieving cost reductions.

Key Responsibilities:
1. **Initiate and Implement Process Improvements:**
- Identify and develop strategies for process enhancement through Kaizen events.
- Create visual representations of information, track data flow, and optimize processes.

2. **Process Analysis and Optimization:**
- Conduct thorough evaluations of current manufacturing workflows to pinpoint inefficiencies and areas for enhancement.
- Formulate and execute strategies to document and refine processes, establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) to visualize improvements.
- Oversee process documentation and optimization from initiation to control phases.

3. **Lean Principles Implementation:**
- Lead the adoption of lean methodologies, including 5S, value stream mapping, and visual management techniques.
- Analyze production data and performance metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.

4. **Cross-Functional Collaboration:**
- Engage in cross-departmental projects to foster collaboration and drive operational excellence.
- Utilize root cause analysis to uncover underlying issues affecting production and quality.

5. **Documentation and Compliance:**
- Develop and maintain comprehensive Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and adherence to industry standards.
- Assist in change management efforts to ensure the successful integration of process improvements.

6. **Safety and Environmental Compliance:**
- Work alongside safety and environmental teams to ensure that all improvements align with regulatory standards and company policies.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with a minimum of 5 years of experience in Continuous Improvement, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
- Strong expertise in lean manufacturing principles and process optimization.
- Proficient in data analysis, process modeling, and statistical tools.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and experience leading cross-functional teams.
- Outstanding communication skills, capable of conveying complex concepts to diverse audiences.
- Proven track record of driving change and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Willingness to travel up to 25%.
