Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Veterinary Clinical Research Nurse to provide critical support for clinical trials at the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. As a key member of our research team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of study documentation, as well as providing exceptional support to our research clinic.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data Management: Ensure the accuracy and completeness of study documentation, including case report forms, adverse event reports, and other relevant documents.
  • Research Clinic Support: Provide assistance with patient screening, eligibility determination, consent, and enrollment in clinical trials.
  • Study Coordination: Prepare patient-specific study calendars, outlining the necessary steps for trial participation, including visits, procedures, and laboratory tests.
  • Meetings and Site Visits: Participate in and prepare for meetings and site visits, including site evaluations, initiations, monitoring, closure, and audits.
  • Other Duties: Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
  • Education: Associate's degree in Veterinary Technology or Certified Veterinary Technician licensure in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is required. A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Experience: One to three years of professional veterinary experience or an equivalent combination of education and qualifications may be considered.
  • Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel, is required. Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects concurrently are essential.
  • Qualifications: A valid driver's license is required.
