- Answering Telephones: Respond to incoming calls and provide assistance as needed.
- Scheduling Appointments: Coordinate appointments and maintain accurate records.
- Maintaining Appointment Book: Ensure accurate and up-to-date scheduling information.
- Confirming Appointments: Verify appointment details with patients.
- Follow up on No-Shows/Cancellations: Address missed appointments and reschedule as needed.
- Register Patients: Sign patients in and out of the office.
- Post Charges and Payments: Process patient transactions accurately.
- Checking Voice-Mail: Monitor and respond to voicemails daily.
- Maintaining a Clean Waiting Area: Ensure a comfortable and clean environment for patients.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Previous experience in a dental, medical, or healthcare office is preferred.
- Knowledge of Insurance Plans: Familiarity with HMO/PPO plans is a plus.
- Telephone Experience: Proven ability to answer and respond to phone calls.
- Customer Service Skills: Exceptional customer service skills are essential for success in this role.
