We're seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our R&D Software Engineering team in Andover, MA. As a key member of our team, you'll play a critical role in driving innovation, security, and reliability for our cloud-based platform.

About the Role
  • Translate requirements into solutions using Jira and Confluence as our main planning and collaboration tools.
  • Provide expertise in incident response and participate in on-call rotations.
  • Manage Kubernetes clusters to orchestrate containerized workloads in a distributed environment.
  • Implement, support, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and ArgoCD.
  • Implement, support, and maintain authentication and authorization mechanisms within Azure.
  • Configure and manage monitoring and alerting systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability of the infrastructure and applications.
  • Develop tools and scripts to automate routine tasks and streamline operational workflows using Terraform or Ansible.
  • Participate in design discussions and provide recommendations for improving scalability, performance, and security of the solutions.
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies related to DevOps, cloud computing, and data center management.
  • Mentor junior team members, share knowledge, and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Requirements
  • Suitable educational background, such as a Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Native Software Development.
  • Hands-on experience with configuration and maintenance in Azure or AWS.
  • Strong understanding of cloud-native technologies, containerization, and orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker, Kafka).
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform & Ansible.
  • Experience with development and operation of Java/JVM-based applications.
  • Experience with authentication and authorization mechanisms (OAuth, LDAP).
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools and techniques (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, GitHub, Jenkins, and ArgoCD.
