Job Summary

MaineHealth is seeking a skilled Scheduling Specialist to join our Cancer Care division in South Portland. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing appointment scheduling for a high-volume multi-physician specialty care practice, including coordination of surgeries and surgical procedures at multiple locations.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Coordinate appointment scheduling for a high-volume multi-physician specialty care practice
  2. Coordinate surgeries and surgical procedures at multiple locations
  3. Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, physicians, and staff
  4. Provide exceptional customer service and communication skills
  5. Stay organized and manage multiple tasks and priorities
  6. Work effectively in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision

Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent preferred
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong computer skills and knowledge of office equipment
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
