Job Summary
MaineHealth is seeking a skilled Scheduling Specialist to join our Cancer Care division in South Portland. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing appointment scheduling for a high-volume multi-physician specialty care practice, including coordination of surgeries and procedures at multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate appointment scheduling for a high-volume multi-physician specialty care practice.
- Coordinate surgeries and procedures at multiple locations.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, physicians, and staff.
- Provide exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and reports.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong computer skills and knowledge of office equipment.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
