Senior Contract Negotiator

Our North American power origination and trading business is seeking a skilled Senior Contract Negotiator to support our team. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for leading the review, negotiation, and execution of master agreements, including ISDAs with physical annexes, EEIs, and long-form confirmations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the review, negotiation, and execution of master agreements in accordance with company templates and guidelines.
  • Assist Credit and Legal teams with documentation relating to guaranties and letters of credit.
  • Collaborate with Commercial and Legal teams to draft and revise bespoke confirms.
  • Manage workflow of other commercial agreements, including transmission agreements, confidentiality agreements, and vendor agreements.
  • Organize executed contracts in our contract management system.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in the energy trading industry.
  • High level of proficiency in MS Outlook and MS Word.
  • Ability to effectively communicate at all levels within the organization and collaborate with other groups.
  • Proven organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects.
  • Strong detail orientation and follow-through.
