Primary Services is seeking a highly skilled Senior Contracts Specialist to join our team in Houston. As a key member of our Integrated Power business unit, you will be responsible for managing contracts and procurement activities to support the renewal of Operating & Maintenance contracts for major power plants in Texas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement contracts and procurement strategies in accordance with local and company-wide policies.
- Manage large sourcing events to support operations, including tender processes for O&M contracts.
- Assist budget holders in defining Master Procurement Planning.
- Monitor and follow up on all expenditures related to contracts and procurement.
- Ensure the application of contracts and procurement practices in cooperation with technical teams.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in contracts and procurement, with a strong understanding of industry contracting issues.
- Proven experience in managing procurement and contract activities in the energy sector, particularly in the Gulf Coast region.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize information and propose strategic initiatives.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interface effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
