About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Specialist. As a key member of our customer service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our clients nationwide.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a liaison between customers and clients, responding to product and service inquiries, and providing information about our products and services.
  • Process orders, prepare correspondences, and fulfill customer needs to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Support our sales team by putting together quotes, processing credit memos, and following up on necessary items.
  • Assist showroom customers in selecting linen choices for their events.
  • Recommend product offerings or services to clients by collecting event information and analyzing event design needs.
  • Take payment information and other pertinent details from customers.
  • Open customer accounts by recording account information.
  • Resolve product or service problems by clarifying customer complaints, determining the cause of the problem, and selecting the best solution.
  • Ensure excellent service standards and maintain high customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • A history of providing exceptional customer service.
  • Requires friendly, professional etiquette and courtesy in interfacing with customers.
  • Strong work ethic and self-starter, able to effectively manage multiple priorities and adapt to change within a fast-paced business environment.
  • Must possess a professional and friendly attitude and be able to quickly develop a rapport with customers.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Requires attention to accurate detail and must be able to multitask.
  • Ability to analyze situations and make decisions in a timely manner.
  • Excellent documentation and recordkeeping abilities.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as within a team environment.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, TEAMS, etc.).
  • Experience working in the Event or Hospitality industries a plus.
  • Ability to work occasional evening shifts and/or weekend shifts (rotation schedule).
