Job Overview

The Supply Chain Business Insights Analyst will play a pivotal role in enhancing operational efficiency and driving strategic initiatives. This position involves close collaboration with the Software Development Manager to ensure successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the business landscape.
  • Engage with cross-functional teams to conduct thorough business analysis and translate findings into technical specifications.
  • Create and implement detailed management plans for each project, ensuring clear communication across all levels.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify business needs, performance metrics, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Contribute to the design of data architecture.
  • Identify and address data integrity challenges.
  • Promote best practices in user experience design.
  • Establish frameworks for data governance and compliance with privacy regulations.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to deliver project artifacts adhering to agile methodologies.
  • Design prototypes and develop visual representations to effectively communicate insights to stakeholders.
  • Provide regular verbal and written updates to all relevant parties.

This role demands a blend of technical expertise and strong communication skills, requiring an understanding of both business operations and data engineering principles.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience as a business analyst, adept at converting business requirements into technical specifications in the field of Business Intelligence.
  • 5+ years of experience in analytics and systems development.
  • High proficiency in SQL and database management.
  • Experience in generating process documentation and analytical reports.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Familiarity with Azure SQL Database, Data Transformation, SSIS, and SQL Server Reporting Services.
  • Strong time management capabilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of process modeling techniques.
  • Experience with continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Proven track record in project management and user testing.

Education & Certifications

Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, or a related analytical discipline.
