POSITION SUMMARY
As a vital member of our team, the Client Service Associate plays a crucial role in supporting Financial Advisors and ensuring a seamless experience for our clients. This position encompasses a variety of responsibilities aimed at enhancing client satisfaction and operational efficiency.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Collaborate with Financial Advisors to provide exceptional service to clients, including the preparation of financial strategies, conducting investment analysis, and executing client transactions.
2. Manage order placements as directed by Financial Advisors and clients, addressing inquiries related to market information, trading features, and order specifics.
3. Execute corporate actions that require licensure, such as tender offers and optional dividends.
4. Organize and confirm client meetings, input data into our CRM system, and create agendas and summaries for discussions.
5. Optimize the Financial Advisor's schedule to enhance productivity by reducing travel time and anticipating necessary preparation for client interactions.
6. Identify and pursue sales opportunities by reaching out to potential clients based on internal leads, leveraging product knowledge to highlight suitable investment options.
7. Provide operational support to Financial Advisors, assisting with system navigation and document processing.
8. Ensure accurate submission of new business paperwork, including the preparation of client forms and obtaining necessary signatures.
9. Uphold security measures by authenticating client communications, particularly for high-risk transactions.
10. Foster a professional atmosphere that leaves a positive impression on clients.
11. Process operational requests as directed by Financial Advisors or clients, including fund distributions and account updates.
12. Collaborate with Financial Advisors to review critical reports, ensuring timely action on financial distributions.
13. Assist with branch operational needs as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
1. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
2. Background in the securities industry or as a sales assistant.
3. Understanding of securities markets and brokerage operations.
4. Familiarity with annuity products.
5. Possession of FINRA SIE, Series 7, and Series 66 licenses (candidates may be considered if they hold one license and can obtain the others during employment).
6. Strong telephone communication skills, capable of engaging with clients across various experience levels.
7. Excellent time management abilities.
8. Effective communication skills with clients and team members.
9. Capacity to analyze and utilize complex information.
10. Ability to work independently.
11. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other basic computer applications.
Preferred:
1. Three years of experience in the securities sector.
2. Previous experience in sales or banking.
3. A degree in business, finance, or a related field.
4. Experience in a call center or brokerage environment, particularly with outbound sales.
