Job Title: Sales Associate

At AEG, we are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Associate to join our team. As a Sales Associate, you will play a critical role in supporting our tournament sales efforts, both administratively and in a customer-facing capacity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Enter all sales contracts and Electronic Ticket Templates (ETTs) into the Ticketmaster Archtics system and forward approved copies to renewal clients within established deadlines.
  • Build sponsorship and hospitality proposals for Senior Director and sales team as needed.
  • Generate internal revenue and inventory reports and validate data to ensure accurate sales capture.
  • Assist Tournament Services Manager with post-sale process, including invoicing, client relations, merchandising/inventory control, etc.
  • Support Marketing Services department with development and execution of tournament marketing plan.
  • Interact with clients to ensure needs are met, prospect new clients, assist Director to secure repeat purchases, and conduct fan surveys as requested.
  • Provide support to Senior Director - Sales and Manager - Community Relations and Charity Outreach as needed.
  • Work with internal departments to manage lead generation and referrals between groups.
  • Liaise between tournament sales team and Inside Sales for inventory/revenue reporting management.
  • Generate Marketing and Hospitality Agreements and coordinate efforts between client, sales lead, and respective legal contacts.
  • Liaise with Ticketing group on steps related to processing and fulfillment of completed hospitality deals.
  • Assist sales team in A/R process.
  • Support sales team and TSM's in coordinating sponsorship deliverables.
  • Execute small package sales and Group Sales on an as-needed basis.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Sales, Marketing, or related field.
  • 0-2 years of corporate business experience required. Prior experience in sports industry with exposure to event management or event sales preferred.
  • Must possess strong Microsoft Office skills, including mail merges and intermediate-level Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Flexible schedule to include evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Able to safely operate a utility vehicle, such as golf carts, utility carts, and shuttle carts.
