Position Overview

AECOM is looking for a skilled Senior Marketing Proposal Specialist to collaborate closely with the business development and operations teams in the East Region. This role involves engaging in the preparation of various client solicitations, such as expressions of interest (EOI), requests for qualifications (RFQ), and requests for proposals (RFP).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Possess in-depth knowledge of the company's values and operational policies.
  • Exhibit substantial expertise in marketing and proposal management.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in all aspects of the role.
  • Handle advanced tasks requiring independent decision-making and innovative problem-solving.
  • Collaborate with technical and business development teams to create compelling submissions and manage the information systems that facilitate efficient operations.
  • Lead proposal teams, ensuring adherence to schedules, templates, compliance, and messaging.
  • Oversee a range of proposals and presentations from initial positioning to interview stages, including participation in strategic analyses.
  • Ensure compliance with RFP guidelines and internal branding standards in document design.
  • Conduct quality reviews and implement feedback to enhance proposal effectiveness.
  • Support special projects and mentor junior proposal team members.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Journalism, English, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Six years of relevant experience in a marketing team focused on proposal activities.
  • Strong understanding of proposal strategy development and compliance.
  • Exceptional writing skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proven organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with the A/E industry and AECOM's projects and competitors.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of marketing best practices and tools.
  • Proficiency in InDesign, Microsoft Office Suite, and collaborative tools.
  • Experience with CRM systems, particularly Salesforce.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities.
