Job Summary

The Production Operations Supervisor is responsible for producing high-quality Dyneema products in the most cost-effective manner and according to the production plan, while maintaining excellent safety, human relations, and environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of production associates to achieve performance goals and maintain a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulatory requirements, recipes, SOPs, and other related documentation and activities.
  • Make routine rounds of the facility to ensure production standards are met through the use of approved operational procedures.
  • Actively contribute to Lean, 5S, and Continuous Improvement efforts within the Production area and hold teams accountable to improvements in the area.
  • Resolve unplanned deviations, including real-time documentation and root cause analysis.
  • Ensure production schedule is met by distributing workload in accordance with changing priorities.
Requirements
  • High school diploma (required) with at least 3-5 years of experience working in a manufacturing, production, or equivalent military technical experience/training.
  • Bachelor's degree (preferred).
  • Working knowledge and/or routine use of business processes and platforms such as Microsoft Office Suite, Manufex, Operational Excellence, and Good Manufacturing Processes (GMP).
  • Ability to lead a team and develop team members based on team member skill sets, desires for growth, and business needs.
  • Familiarity with implementing, modeling, following, and enforcing safety, health, and environment procedures and behaviors.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with support groups and all levels of the organization.
