Job Overview

Objective of the Role

The primary aim is to collaborate with and support the Sales Director in all activities related to the sales division.

Key Responsibilities
Core Duties

• Achieve target occupancy levels while maximizing rental income through effective marketing strategies and resident retention initiatives.

• Regularly review online marketing platforms for accuracy and manage the procurement of printed promotional materials as necessary.

• Stay informed about competitor offerings, including rental requirements, unit availability, features, market rates, and current leasing promotions.

• Ensure prompt responses to inquiries from potential residents.

• Maintain comprehensive records of prospects, applicants, and residents, along with traffic logs, marketing statistics, and referral sources.

Conduct community tours

Availability Requirement

Must be available to work on weekends.

Qualifications


• High School Diploma or equivalent is mandatory.

• A Bachelor's degree or a relevant combination of education and experience is preferred.

• Willingness to work extended hours, including weekends, is essential.

• Proficient in reading, writing, basic mathematics, and verbal communication in English.

• Ability to manage frequent interruptions effectively.

• Demonstrated success in leasing roles with a strong commitment to customer service and Fair Housing regulations.

• Familiarity with office procedures, systems, and equipment, particularly Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and clearly.

• Sensitivity in interactions with diverse populations.

• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently towards personal and team objectives.

• Commitment to safeguarding personal and confidential information.

• Capable of tactfully engaging with residents, staff, management, corporate representatives, vendors, and the public.

• Understanding and adherence to company policies and procedures.

• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.

Job Functions

Physical Requirements
Must be able to perform tasks such as:

• Occasionally push, pull, lift, and move items weighing up to 20 pounds.

• Sit for extended periods while performing computer-related tasks.

Work Environment
The Sales and Marketing Assistant operates within a climate-controlled office setting and may conduct community tours and inspections.

Equipment Proficiency
Must be capable of operating:

• Personal computers, scanners, printers, photocopiers, fax machines, and calculators.
