TotalMed Allied is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist for a travel assignment. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining imaging equipment, preparing patients for exams, and interpreting images to aid in diagnosis.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, including ultrasound, MRI, and CT scanners
- Prepare patients for exams, including explaining procedures and positioning patients
- Interpret images to aid in diagnosis, including identifying abnormalities and recommending further testing
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans
- Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques
Requirements:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field
- Current certification in Diagnostic Medical Sonography (RDMS) or related field
- 2+ years of experience in Diagnostic Imaging
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
