Job Title: Assistant Professor of Theatre: Lighting, Sound, and Projections

Southern Oregon University's School of Arts & Communication seeks a full-time, nine-month, tenure-track Assistant Professor of Theatre: Lighting, Sound, and Projections. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching theatre technology courses at all levels, academic advising, curriculum development, and participation in the university's production season.

Responsibilities:
  • Teach theatre technology courses, including lighting, sound, and projections
  • Provide academic advising to students
  • Develop and implement curriculum for theatre technology courses
  • Participate in the university's production season, including designing and operating lighting and sound systems
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Theatre or related field
  • Professional experience in theatre production, including lighting and sound design
  • Excellent teaching and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with faculty and staff
