Job Description
This dynamic position will support the development and deployment of a cutting-edge pooled cell engineering platform using single-cell genomics and high-throughput gene delivery. The successful candidate will collaborate with leading researchers in the field of single-cell biology and cell engineering to design, implement, and analyze experiments.
Main Responsibilities
- Therapeutic Screening Platform Development: Collaborate with researchers to develop a novel therapeutic screening platform leveraging single-cell genomics and high-throughput gene delivery.
- Laboratory Experiments: Conduct laboratory experiments involving the isolation and culture of immune cells from primary human blood products, as well as transform and grow bacterial stocks for plasmid DNA isolation.
- Data Analysis and Interpretation: Gather data for a combinatorial screening project and participate in multidisciplinary teams across various faculties or schools.
- Scientific Literature Review: Stay current with new procedures and related research by conducting ongoing literature reviews and applying knowledge to enhance research protocols.
- Publication and Presentation: Contribute to the preparation of papers for publication and present ongoing work to colleagues and/or academic conferences.
Additional Responsibilities
The selected candidate may be required to perform other duties as assigned by the department, consistent with their job responsibilities and requirements.
