Biotechnology Research Associate

Job Summary:
Stanford University is seeking a Biotechnology Research Associate to join our team. The successful candidate will work in a highly multidisciplinary environment, collaborating with researchers to plan and execute genomic technology and molecular biology experiments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement new research protocols, including primer design, validation, and optimization.
- Conduct nucleic acid QC, real-time PCR, DNA sequencing, and fragment analysis using molecular biology procedures.
- Interpret and analyze results, making modifications to existing procedures and protocols as needed.
- Work independently on multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
- Collaborate with vendors and customers to implement technical protocols.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Biology or related scientific field and four years of relevant work experience, or Master's degree in Biology or related scientific field and two years of relevant experience.
- Comprehensive understanding of scientific principles, including genomics and molecular biology.
- Expert level knowledge of multiplexed IF staining and imaging using clinical tissue sections.
Working Conditions:
