Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Specialist to join our team at Grandstand Glassware & Apparel. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for coordinating and performing daily human resources functions, including payroll, benefits, recruitment, orientation, compliance, and record keeping.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and perform daily human resources functions, including payroll, benefits, recruitment, orientation, compliance, and record keeping.
  • Collaborate and support HR department initiatives to build company culture, engagement, and professional development.
  • Provide excellent communication skills to build rapport, articulate clearly, and actively listen.
  • Critical thinking skills to problem-solve and exercise good judgment to make sound and timely decisions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, human resources, or a relevant field; or at least seven (7) years of generalist experience; or equivalent combination of skills and experience.
  • Proven experience with HRIS systems with understanding of applicant tracking, benefit and performance management, time and attendance, and a solid knowledge of labor law and compliance.
  • Minimum five (5) years of payroll processing experience. Experience with ADP Workforce Now a plus.
  • Proficient with MS Office Applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Ability to identify and improve processes using technology to increase efficiencies.
  • Human Resources Certification, strongly preferred.
