Key Responsibilities- Project Planning and Execution: Work closely with project management and operations personnel to plan and execute projects within project scoping, timelines, and budgets.
- Field Coordination: Coordinate and communicate with field archaeologists to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Team Leadership: Organize and direct field crews and other staff assigned to projects, providing training and guidance as needed.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in anthropology/archaeology, with a completed accredited archaeological field school and a Master's degree in anthropology/archaeology.
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years of full-time experience in cultural resources management, with at least 1 year of crew chief level experience.
- Skills: In-depth understanding of archaeological field methods for all phases of work, experience with GPS equipment, and ability to work outdoors in variable temperatures and inclement weather.
- Certifications: Possession of a valid U.S. driver's license.
- Paid Time Off: Paid vacation, paid leave, and holiday pay.
- Health Insurance: Health, dental, and vision insurance.
- Retirement Plan: 401k retirement plan after 1 year of employment.
- Per Diem: $45/day.
- Travel Reimbursement: Mileage reimbursement.
